For the last Pi Day celebration at CTK, the 4th graders threw 35 whipped cream pies at Mrs. Williams. Great job memorizing all those digits of pi! Happy Pi Day (tomorrow)!
Today the 4th graders had the chance to learn about the different ways to pray and grow closer to God from Sr. Eileen and some OG high school students.
Thank you to Sister Eileen and the OGHS volunteers for visiting Ms. Carda's 3rd graders today. They completed a Lenten relay race, talked about prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, and wrote their Lenten sacrifices on wooden crosses to be displayed in the desert box in their classroom.
Yesterday the 4th grade class enjoyed the Water Festival!

Our students and staff prayerfully journeyed through the Stations of the Cross today, reflecting on Christ's love and sacrifice. We invite you to join us each Friday of Lent at 10:45am.
Back in December, Ms. Carda's class completed their fiction narrative unit. They adopted a virtual Elf on the Shelf named Jingles, who took over the school during Christmas break. The students described Jingles' adventures in their published book "The Wacky World of Jingles the Elf"!
