This year, we are going to kick-off our School-Family Organization (SFO) with Parent University on Thursday, September 3rd from 6:00-7:00pm. Parent University is a night for parents to come to the classroom for an orientation on day-to-day "stuff" (parents can select one or two 30-minute classroom sessions to attend). We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to connect with your child's teacher and learn a little bit more about what's happening at the school. *It is requested that this night be for adults only. Thank you!
Please note that this is a different day than previously marked on the calendar.

Join us for the Bob Burns Dakota Bowl XLVIII Football & Cheer Camps — an unforgettable night of fun, learning, and Knight spirit! 💙⚔️

Today is the first day of school, and our halls are once again filled with smiling faces, excited voices, and the joy of learning! 💙
We are so excited to welcome our students, families, faculty, and staff back for another wonderful year at St. Katharine Drexel Elementary School. May this year be filled with new friendships, meaningful learning, joyful moments, and many opportunities to grow together in faith. 🙏📚
Here’s to an amazing school year ahead! 🌟
Welcome back, SKD!

Good morning...one more day to go! The staff is excited to see all of the smiling faces filling the school tomorrow morning. For those of you who picked up the Open House Family Folder, there was a packet of back-to-school information that was missing the back pages. Click this link to view the full packet of information. My apologies for any confusion this may have caused! BACK-TO-SCHOOL
This year begins with the foundation of the theological virtues: faith, hope, and love.
Faith helps us trust in God’s plan. Hope gives us confidence in His promises. Love calls us to serve God and others with generous hearts.
As we start a new school year, may these virtues guide our words, actions, and relationships each day. ❤️

At Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we honor the men who model integrity, service, and devotion—both in our homes and throughout our school community. May God bless you for the countless ways you support, protect, and guide those entrusted to your care. 🙏

We lift up our prayers for the fallen, their families, and all who serve.

Check out what's happening at school this week with our KSKD News Broadcast for May 11th! https://youtu.be/J1WNC5yuB3g
*Correction-Thursday will be a picnic style lunch with hot dogs, carrots, apples, chips, and fruit snacks. This will be the only entree served.

Today we honor and celebrate all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who reflect God’s love through their care, strength, and faith.
Thank you for the countless ways you nurture and guide our Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools community. You are a true blessing!

This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re focusing on circumspection—the virtue of thinking before we act, considering the consequences of our choices, and seeking God’s guidance in every decision.
Circumspection helps us act wisely, make thoughtful choices, and live in a way that honors God and others. We’re encouraging our students to pause, reflect, and choose the path that leads to goodness and truth.
